How to Cancel Aadhaar Update Request Online

In order to cancel an Aadhaar card update request, there are a few simple steps that you need to follow. You must have the URN number and the phone number that you use for Aadhaar if you want to cancel a request to update your Aadhaar number. Now, follow the steps below.

No 1: There are two steps you need to take to cancel the Aadhaar Update Request: First, you need to open the UIDai website. Then, you need to go to the home page and choose “Cancel.”

No 2: Here, you’ll see a list of categories and the options that go with each one. Find and choose the option to check the status of online demographic updates from the drop-down menu, and then click on it.

You will be taken to a new page where you must enter your 12-digit Aadhaar number, the URN number you were given at the time of your location update request, and the captcha code shown on the screen. When you’re done, click the Send OTP button to send the OTP.

No 6: You now need to click on Send OTP and type in the captcha code.

No 7:  An OTP will be sent to your cell phone that is linked to your Aadhaar number again. If you look at the figure below, you can enter the OTP and then choose to cancel the request, as shown.

No 8: If the request was successful, a message will appear in this step to show that it was done You can now make another request to change your Aadhaar number.
