As 2021 winds down, we’ve seen several major smartphone debuts all across the world. Samsung, Xiaomi, Apple, and many more have all released flagship smartphones. Samsung’s Galaxy S21 series, released at the beginning of 2021, has remained the finest Android smartphone available throughout the year.
In addition to the OnePlus 9, it has also released the groundbreaking Xiaomi Mi 11 series, the cutting-edge Oppo Find X3 Pro, and the highly anticipated Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3. Then in September, both the Google Pixel 6 and the highly anticipated iPhone 13 series were released. The book was published in October.
Products like the Samsung Galaxy S22 are already available and might be introduced in the first quarter of 2022, but we are mostly focused on that year since our expectations for this year will not be greater.
Here are the remaining 2021 and early 2022 phones that are expected to be the most popular.
Samsung Galaxy S22 range
The Samsung Galaxy S22 is scheduled to debut in January 2022, making it a little later than some of the other phones on this list.
It is speculated that the S22, Samsung Galaxy S22 Plus, and Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra will all have the same screen and design as the Galaxy S21 series but will be powered by the next-generation processor when they finally make their debut. As such, it has been stated that next-generation Samsung Exynos chipsets are not yet accessible, whereas Snapdragon chipsets are widely distributed over the globe.
The camera of the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra has undergone some substantial improvements. Some have speculated that the primary camera would feature 200 megapixels, while others have predicted that it will top out at 108 megapixels.
In any case, the telephoto lens may benefit from a useful enhancement, such as continuous optical zoom (which would allow you to zoom from, say, 2x to 10x). Current models only allow for scaling up to 3x or 10x, thus anything more than that would need digital or hybrid components.
The general public has been kept in the dark about these future phones, but we are hoping to learn more in the lead up to their release. Samsung’s past performance suggests that these phones will be among the finest and most anticipated of 2022.
OnePlus 10
Since the OnePlus 9T hasn’t been released yet, the OnePlus 10 is the most likely successor.
There may be a year between the release of the OnePlus 9 and this next model, so we don’t know much about it just yet. About about every six months, OnePlus introduces a new version of their flagship product.
We anticipate considerable changes to the camera as a result of the company’s collaboration with Hasselblad, and we know it will come with fresh new software. Also, the Snapdragon 898, among other contenders, is a likely option for a new and more powerful chipset that will be featured.
There is still time until the release of the OnePlus 10, which may come as early as March or April based on the company’s track record.
Huawei P50 range
We are still waiting for a worldwide rollout of the Huawei P50 series, which was introduced but is still only accessible in China.
The Huawei P50 Pro is the most expensive model, but it’s worth the wait thanks to its quad-lens camera with a 50 MP primary sensor and a telephoto lens, as well as its 6.6-inch 1228 x 2700 OLED screen, 120 Hz refresh rate, Snapdragon 888 chipset, up to 12 GB of RAM, and Snapdragon 660 processor. 64 megapixels (with 3.5x optical and 200x digital zoom), 13 megapixels for a broad field of view, and 40 megapixels in monochrome.
Due to Huawei’s continuing embargo, it runs Huawei’s Xinhongmeng 2 operating system rather than Android and stalls without 5G, despite having a 4,360mAh battery and 66W rapid charging.
In many respects, the Huawei P50 is comparable to a regular smartphone. The display has a 90Hz refresh rate, the battery is 4100mAh, and the camera setup is unique, with a main 50MP sensor, an ultra-wide angle 13MP sensor, and a telephoto 12MP lens with 5x optical zoom. However, the display is quite diminutive.
Google Pixel Fold
After years of speculation, Google finally released its foldable smartphone, the Pixel Fold. It’s possible that it will be released by the end of 2021 or the beginning of 2022.
It’s conceivable that this may happen in 2021, but we don’t anticipate it happening before then since we expect more information about the phone to emerge around that time.
To remedy the current situation, we will sprinkle some salt over the affected areas. According to rumours, the Google Pixel Fold will include a 7.6-inch OLED display and the same Tensor chipset as the Pixel 6 series. It has the potential to be one of the few third-party foldable smartphones worth praising.
Nokia 10
10. We’ve been waiting so long for the Nokia 10 that it’s gone through multiple rebrandings since its first rumour: the Nokia 9.1 was supposed to be launched, but then it was the Nokia 9.2, the Nokia 9.3, and finally the Nokia 10. The Nokia X60, we are told, is an option now that the company has switched to a new naming strategy for its mobile devices.
While we still don’t know what it’s called, the release date is now set in stone. Company officials reportedly claimed it will be released before November 11.
It may be worthwhile to wait for, since speculations suggest that it will contain an in-screen selfie camera, a sapphire crystal display, a five-lens camera, a 108 or 200MP main sensor, a 6000mAh battery, a 144Hz refresh rate, and a high-performance Snapdragon 888 CPU.
As far as we can tell, these are the best smartphones that will be released in 2021 and 2022. All of them are formidable rivals that will provide customers a wide range of alternatives.
